Sennelier Extra Fine Artist's Watercolours Metal Box

Sennelier's traditionally designed Metal Watercolour boxes combine double lids - for use as mixing palettes - with a thumb ring on the underside of the tin making the tin comfortable to hold.

First developed in 1893, Sennelier's Extra Fine Artist's Watercolours are rich, luminous and intense and with recent additions of modern pigment types feature excellent lightfastness and stability. The Maison Sennelier selected the finest quality gum arabic from Kordofan, Sudan, retained in its raw natural state as a binder, fused with slowly-ground pigment allowing the colour’s hue to develop in all its splendor. Honey is added to increase give luster to the vivacity of Sennelier's colours and plasticity is gained by the addition of glycerin.
