Conte Sepia Drawing Pencil

Conté Traditional Drawing Pencils are available in a number of differing meterials. Sepia is reminscent of burnt umber and is easily blended while can also appear transparent. The pencil increases in opacity with the application of added pressure. Sepia is traditionally used for rough sketches and drawing nudes and can be combined with Conté's white pencil to create highlights (an essential complement to other pencils in the Conté range, giving a transparent mark). Sepia is ideal for landscape work owing to it's versatility and ability to mix with shades of Sanguine and white.
